Zelnor has never met anyone like her, and it’s not just her absurdly soft beard that sets the half-elf apart. She possesses the rarest magic on all of Eltun. This mysterious power, only limited by the bounds of her imagination, comes with a unique twist: every spell she casts comes with another random spell and a new patch of golden-tipped fur.

Enter Erianna Orvash’na, a bewitching (and annoying) singer whose failed attempt to steal Zelnor’s ring leads them to a revelation.

The stolen ring contains a dragon’s scale—a key component in forging a pact with one. With the reluctant songstress’ help, Zelnor meets Torrin, a dragon with all the answers she seeks. His only request? That Zelnor speak with another mage on his behalf—a mage who just so happens to share her rare abilities.
Zelnor has nothing to lose and everything to gain, but is Torrin’s deal too good to be true?
